The Adventurists Richshaw Run
Great Balls of Fur Rickshaw Run

Adventurism?

There appear to be many definitions...

"Involvement in risky enterprises without regard to proper procedures and possible consequences..."

"Impulsive, rash, or irresponsible actions or attitudes, especially in the sphere of public life..."

Older, balder but no wiser than before we find ourselves, by definition it would appear, preparing for the next episode of the Great Balls of Fur clan.

Assembled once again, like teachers on the picket-line; the Furballers began their plotting.

Like a siren in the night, this time INDIA was calling. "Come hither and do yourself a mischief." A temptation not even the most hardened (ahem) of Furballs could ignore.

But what new challenge could this eclectic mix of fur-loving but non-vegetarian (apart from Katy Pants) gaggle muster which would warrant such an open-mouthed reaction to those who couldn't escape being told?

Two weeks, or 14 days, depending on who is counting, to travel the length and breadth of this vast subcontinent from South to North in something that is woefully inadequate for the task at hand... a tuk-tuk.

Oh yeah, and it also happens that India has the highest road fatality rate in the world - good job the tuk-tuk is about as resistant to impact as Col Gaddafi!

Words for a self-confessed 'wise-man': "you start on the left of the road, unless it is occupied. In that case go to the right, unless that is also occupied. Then proceed by occupying the next available gap, as in chess. The dotted white lines are considered wholly advisory by the 1.3 Billion Indians, most of whom believe in reincarnation."
